Ingredients:
- 2 cups puffed brown rice cereal (unsweetened and no added salt or sugar)
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (make sure it’s xylitol-free!)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Optional Boost:
- 1/4 teaspoon dog-safe multivitamin powder – for a little added nutrition
Instructions:
- In a saucepan over low heat, gently melt the peanut butter, applesauce, and coconut oil together until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the multivitamin powder (if using).
- Place puffed rice cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm mixture over the cereal.
- Gently mix until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into a parchment-lined pan and flatten evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours until fully set.
- Cut into bite-sized squares and serve!
